K&S
Double G Ranch has Boer Goats For
Sale and is owned and operated by Ken and Sandee Gragert. Our ranch is located northeast of Huntsville, Texas off
highway 19 outside of beautiful, scenic and peaceful Lovelady. The heavily wooded land with pastures is perfect for our
registered Boer goats. Our goats survive on pasture & browse with
lots of fresh water and free choice minerals available at all times.
They are supplemented with 16% pellets and hay only when needed,
mostly in the winter when the browse and graze is scarce. Our herd now consists of full blood and high percentage Boer goats. We have traditionals, red and black paints, solid reds and solid blacks. In 2010, we will be having kids born in May & June. Our show kids go fast, so, it is important to bookmark our site and visit us frequently. We are excited about our 2010 herd giving us our very own future herd. We have worked hard in developing quality goats for our ranch with reasonable prices for selling production & show stock to our existing and future clients and to all clients interested in adding quality stock to their existing herds. Mr. Jingles was born this January and we are expecting him to grow into one of our future herd bucks. He is showing massive qualities, solid red and has a wonderful disposition. The "Twins", traditional buck and doe are not named yet, was also born in January and will also be added to our future herd. Majic, is our half New Zeland & half South African doe and gave birth to Valentine this year on Valentine's Day. Val is a traditional doeling & will be added to our herd. We are very proud of her genetics. If you want to talk goats, purchase a goat or simply come visit, feel free to call and/or make an appointment. We will show you or discuss what works for us in breeding quality stock in the pine trees of East Texas. WE STARTED: In 2001, with one Billy, Spanish goat (Buddy) given to us by Robert Schwebel
D.V. M.
of Brazoria County. Dr.
Schwebel said he would let us have Buddy to see if we could keep him
alive and find out if we really wanted to raise goats.
We raised Buddy until he was breeding age and he then went to a
young lady starting her own percentage herd.
In 2002 we traveled to West Texas and purchased a paint full
blood buck, Silver G N 38, with an outstanding bloodline and three Codi/PCI full blood does to start our herd. Over the years we have achieved our goal of raising beautiful
animals that conform to the breed standards while still being hardy
enough to survive and thrive mostly on pasture. We sell our goats for
Production and Commercial Breeding and 4-H/FFA Show Stock. We strive to produce outstanding show
stock economically to help the students that show them earn money for their
education. Sincerely, Sandee Gragert
